Formal dress is not required - we hope you come looking nice but also comfortable! Carly will have her dress and Mark will be spiffed up as well, so if you feel like dressing up you won’t be alone!
The Dress
Getting married came down to having the dress, and it was close. Originally set to try out dresses one day, the boutique owner asked to move up the appointment by a day so she could go to an event. Carly agreed, found the one, and through express shipping it could arrive before we would leave back for home. The twist is the owner was mistaken - the event was actually the following day of the original appointment, meaning without the mix-up there’d have been no dress, and no wedding!
The Ceremony
We were married the tenth of May this year by none other than Elvis in Las Vegas! We wanted to keep things simple and straightforward, and even have some fun! The extra benefit was there was a lot less planning involved (or time to), as we only had a couple days to get the license, find a venue, and elope! We had just enough time to barely get it together!
The Party!
The most important part is to have fun with everyone!! We hope to see everyone and share a part of us - great tacos from one of our favorite places in town at our favorite brewery, as well as a sweet desert! For later snacks there’ll be pizzas from Flour Girl. Plus, music will be our combined playlist. All we need is the perfect company - our friends and family!
